Slazenger Padel started in 2020 with the rebirth of one of the oldest brands in the world of sports, founded in 1881 and victorious ever since.
The first Slazenger padel racket collection is named after one of the most iconic tennis rackets ever made, Slazenger Challenge No.1. At one time the racket used by most Grand Slam winners ever including icons such as Björn Borg, Jimmy Connors, Ken Rosewall. Even used by famous fashion icon and tennis pro Fred Perry.
Slazenger has produced tennis balls for the Wimbledon tournament since the start in 1902, making this sponsorship the longest within the sports industry. The Slazenger tennis ball has ever since the start been known as the No.1 premium tennis ball. This heritage will soon be transferred into a brand new padel ball during 2021.
Actually, Slazenger was one of the first brands to produce padel rackets. We have been around since padel was played with wooden rackets and in different forms. However, for many years and particularly during the last years of rapid growth of the sport, players have been wishing for the greatest brand to enter the world of padel.
And now we are here!
